Akton has introduced Multi-Protocol Label Switching to Adriatic Region in summer of 2008,
with first commercial users from the fall of the same year. New technology helped Akton to improve its backbone in
terms of enhanced security, faster routing and better utilization of the resources available.
Akton can offer L3 MPLS Lines, enabling our clients to have Intranet/Internet or Common Service VPN's.
Akton backbone supports CsC (Carrier supporting Carrier) connections, as well as QoS setups (Quality of Service).
Akton clients can distribute their bandwidth between applications or protocols, and utilize MPLS for different
purposes such as VoIP, Video Conferencing, SAP, SIP, Citrix, X-Windows, PC-Anywhere, Netshow, Netbios, NFS, HTTP,
Internet access and browsing, E-mail, and many more.
