RELIABLE COMMUNICATIONS FOR THE ADRIATIC REGION

Ljubljana, 23.11.2006 – The company Akton d.o.o. as the first supplier of communication services has established its own communication network, which connects together the countries of the Adriatic region. Akton has become the first supplier that can on the communication path between its points of presence Ljubljana – Zagreb – Banja Luka – Sarajevo guarantee the agreed level of service, as the key for this is to have an own infrastructure.

New GRX PoP in Macedonia

Skopje, Macedonia, 8th May 2005: Akton dooel Macedonian subsidiary of Akton doo Slovenia, opened a new point of presence in Skopje-Macedonia for serving mobile carriers in south Adriatic region.
New PoP with fully transparent Akton GRX service will allow us to offer quick provisioning and high quality access for GPRS roaming service to mobile operators in south Adriatic towards rest of Europe. Mobile operators that will connect to PoP in Skopje will benefit in GPRS roaming service with more that 150 mobile operators worldwide.
Service that is already available in other countries where Akton has its operation was very successfully launched last year.
