In the summer of 2008, Akton introduced MPLS in its own network for the entire Adriatic region. The first commercial users were connected in the autumn of the same year. The new technology allowed Akton to improve the backbone network and thus provide increased security, faster routing and better utilisation of the available capacities.
|
Akton communications provides direct international termination of mobile and landline telecommunications traffic in the Adriatic Region: in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYR Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro.
High-capacity network services
We provide IPLC (International Private Leased Circuits) to any of our PoP (Points of Presence) in the Adriatic network or directly to any of your customers in the region.
